Is there a file size limit?
No limit imposed by us — trimming runs on your device, so it's only bound by your browser's memory. Very large videos are best handled on a desktop.
What's the difference between instant and precise?
Instant (stream copy) is near-immediate but snaps the cut to the nearest keyframe (a second or two). Precise re-encodes for an exact-frame cut, which is slower.
