Is Bytley free?
Yes. Every tool is free. No sign-up, no watermark, no file limits from us. Ads and optional donations keep it running.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The tools run inside your browser, on your own device. Your files never leave your computer or phone. (The only exception is PDF to Word, which uses a secure server and deletes your file right after converting.)
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything works in your web browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
What can I do on Bytley?

Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in any modern mobile browser. A few heavy tools (like screen recording) need a computer, and very large files work best on a computer too.
Is there a file size limit?
For almost all tools, no — since files stay on your device, the only limit is your device's memory. PDF to Word has a 25 MB limit because it uses a server.
Why is Bytley fast?
There is no upload and no queue. Your file is processed the moment you click, right on your device.
